Lusaka Contemporary Art Centre (LuCAC) is a private, artist-run foundation in Zambia dedicated to advancing contemporary art and cultural research.
Situated in New Chamba Valley, Lusaka, LuCAC comprises a gallery, library, and artist residencies. Its library holds a growing collection of books, journals, exhibition catalogues, monographs, and reference materials on contemporary art and related theory.
LuCAC fosters the production of new artistic and cultural knowledge, with a particular focus on themes such as decolonisation, memory, histories, and contemporaneity — explored across local, regional, and international contexts. It supports both emerging and established artists through exhibitions, public programmes, and residencies.
