Sepatokimin Initiative is an Indonesia-based community empowerment initiative dedicated to uplifting marginalised groups through creative economy development. It supports communities to build human, social, intellectual, and financial capital via research, training, and long-term mentoring — helping them design, produce, and manage craft-based enterprises.
Sepatokimin also provides a platform for empowered communities to share their stories and market refined products to broader creative-industry audiences, including local brands, manufacturers, and collaborative initiatives.
Since its founding in 2019, it has partnered with communities across West Kalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi, and other locations, grounding its work in participatory research, asset-based community design, and sustainable development.
