These workshops aim to generate dialogue across diverse cultures, disciplines, and publics. They set out to develop knowledge through a process of mapping aspects of the art scenes in Romania and Norway.

This workshop led by artist and Artist and designer Adam Peacock is aimed at young people aged 16-22 who are interested in art, science and design. Participatns will produce ‘future identity maps’ that explore the past, present and the future of how technology will affect identity expression.
Artist Phoebe Davies and choreographer Nandi Bhebhe lead an intensive weekend workshop exploring the ways that human bodies interact and occupy space, in group situations where power dynamics and the ‘pack mentality’ are in play.
Behzad Khosravi Noori leads a workshop as part of the Cultural Mistranslations residency, a collaboration between PRAKSIS and Kunstnernes Hus.
Dr. Stefan Nowotny leads a group workshop in looking more closely at questions of translation and mistranslation and how these relate to the participant's practices.

ICDP will facilitate the making of 2 large-scale collaborative drawings on canvas, using hundreds of marker pens kindly provided by Winsor & Newton. This participatory work will be developed through a series of public workshops held across the residency. The sessions will offer a place for discussion about intersecting histories, ideologies and shared experience in relation to the residency theme, In time we too will become ancestors...
