PRAKSIS Platform
Open call

Deadline: 22 November 2026
Start date: 1 December 2026 (or by agreement)
Location: PRAKSIS Oslo, Anatomigården, Rådhusgata 19, 0158, Oslo.

Do you run a collective? Do you want to bring people together to discuss an idea or topic, or develop a project?

This winter, PRAKSIS is opening its space to collectives who would like to use its loft as a project space or meeting place. It aims to activate the space through events and gatherings that build dialogue, community and connection.

PRAKSIS Platform has grown out of requests from people looking for space to gather and organise collectively. It has already hosted groups such as There Will Be Tomorrows and e for emergence, and while it is not able to offer direct funding, it is keen to offer space and advice to emerging and established collective projects.

If you run an initiative that needs a regular home base, or have an idea for a collective project or one-off event that has been waiting for the right room, PRAKSIS would love to hear from you.

How to Apply

Email PRAKSIS using the address below with up to 500 words and up to three images (if relevant) describing your group and/or your project plan. If you have relevant supporting links, please include them.

Tell us:

  • About your initiative: What are you working on, and what kinds of activities would you like to host in the space?

  • Rhythm of use: Roughly how often do you imagine meeting here?

  • The names of the main people involved, with a few lines about each of you and your practice(s).

  • No CVs needed.

Send your proposal to office@praksisoslo.org by 22 November with the title Open call Praksis Platform. All applicants will be contacted by PRAKSIS by the end of November.

What we can offer

PRAKSIS can offer a shared workspace for your group, access to its resources and support with facilitation. The loft is well suited to both events and small gatherings, and is equipped with several desks, chairs, couches, speakers, a projector and screens.

About PRAKSIS

PRAKSIS is an Oslo-based non-profit arts and culture organisation that fosters creative practice and knowledge production through collective activity and the exchange of ideas, skills and information. Our projects bring artists, thinkers and organisations into dialogue, locally and internationally. They involve participants from all career stages and diverse cultures and disciplines.

PRAKSIS’s programmes include an active, thematic transnational residency programme, a youth mentoring programme and a peer-support platform, PDF. Many involve events that are public facing. Our outputs include publications, podcasts, videos and exhibitions.

PRAKSIS is run by a small core team. Project by project, we collaborate with a changing roster of creative and institutional partners. The Communications and Project Co-ordinator role will suit a person who is proactive, well organised, creative and dynamic. They need to be confident, friendly and comfortable interacting with many different kinds of individuals and groups, and able to support PRAKSIS’s public programmes through occasional evening or weekend work.
