Warm welcome to the public sharing of PRAKSIS's 15th residency: Carrying Histories.

Unpacking the burden of working with historical material, and building cross-cultural awareness of past and present power structures, Carrying Histories has brought together ten participants from Oslo and around the world. This one-month long residency is developed with artist Syowia Kyambi and held in collaboration with Oslo Kunstforening.

This public sharing is an informal event that brings together ideas, works in progress and selected material from the residents. The participating are: Ayman Alazraq (PS/NO), Harnoor Bhangu (CA), Olya Grotova (RU/UK), Nondumiso Lwazi Msumanga (ZA), Neja Tomsic (SL), Lisa Andrine Bernhoft-Sjødin (NO), Elenie Chung (US/TT), Tyler Matthew Oyer (US), Bianca Turner (BR).
