The residents participating in Monumental Temporal come together for a period of intensive, hands-on three-dimensional construction using a variety of materials, alongside discussion of public art and the expanded field of sculpture, touching on topics including monumentality and ephemerality, improvisation and scale; the protocols of sculpture, art and cultural manifestations in the public realm.

During this event each resident will give a short presentation of their practice before opening up for questions and discussion. The residents are: Gereon Krebber (DE), Sayed Sattar Hasan (UK), Kjetil D. Kristensen (NO), Mathew Lacosse (CA), Silja Leifsdottir (IS), Claudia Mann (DE), Evgeniya Martirosyan (RU/IR), Patricia Sandonis (DE/ES), Catriona Robertson (UK).
