We welcome an intern for spring/summer 2017 to work with us for 3 months, at least 2 days per week, from the late March until the end of June. The intern we seek should be open, enthusiastic and willing to learn.

The intern will work closely with the PRAKSIS team, supporting our director and project manager in preparation for, and the running of our next two residencies, and help prepare for a large  event in June. They will have the opportunity to engage with the artists and residency community.

The intern will gain experience of the daily operations of an not for profit arts organisation; expand their network and gain work experience and new skills in relation to:

    • the daily running of a not-for-profit organisation
    • communications 
    • marketing
    • research
    • event management
    • development
    • fundraising  

    Interests and prior experience will be taken into account in assigning tasks to the role. 

    We are looking for somebody with: 

    • strong English language skills 
    • self-motivation
    • an interested in event management 
    • an interest in contemporary art

    The internships is not paid.
